Steve Blanner
Executive Director of Convention Sales & Services
As Executive Director of Convention Sales and Services, Steve oversees the Convention Services' team and is responsible for leading the Convention Sales' efforts, as well as soliciting and contracting accounts for the Mid-Atlantic region.
Experience
Steve, who was a member of the Wynn Las Vegas pre-opening team, started in October 2003 as Director of Convention Services. He was promoted to Executive Director of Convention Services in 2006 and was instrumental in the development of the convention space at Encore. Prior to joining Wynn Resorts in October 2003, Steve served as Director of Convention Services at Bellagio. He was a member of the opening team there. Prior to Bellagio, Steve held various management positions in hotel operations at Treasure Island and other Las Vegas hotels.

Steve's professional affiliations include the Association for Convention Operations Management (ACOM).
Education
Steve graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a degree in Business Administration.
Personal
Steve enjoys boating, camping and all sports. He is the proud father of four children and enjoys spending what spare time he has with his wife and children. He is also a volunteer coach at a local high school.
