Karolyn Graves-Rhodes
Executive Director of Incentive Sales
With years of experience and involvement in the incentive industry, Karolyn accepted the challenge of focusing her direction to the development and execution of incentive sales for Wynn Resorts to include incentive houses globally and the automotive market. Developing engagement programs to grow relationships with our partners will be a key element in her new assignment.
Experience
Prior to joining Wynn Resorts in November 2000, Karolyn served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Desert Inn Resort and had been employed with ITT Sheraton/ Starwood Hotels since 1982. During this period, Karolyn assisted in opening the Four Seasons Olympia in Seattle, Washington as well as the Sheraton Seattle Hotel, working in both in hotel operations and sales.
After eight years as Executive Director of Sales for Wynn Las Vegas, Karolyn moved to a new position as Executive Director of Regional Sales for Wynn Resorts. Her in-market responsibilities included cultivating relationships with new Wynn Resorts customers as well as strengthening relationships with our existing West Coast customer base while continuing to focus her efforts in the incentive market.
Associations
Karolyn is an active member of the Society of Incentive Travel Executives (SITE) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI). Karolyn serves as a board member of the Incentive Research Foundation and the IRF Invitational Committee. She serves on the Newmarket Advisory Board as well as the Carlson Marketing Advisory Board.
Education
Karolyn graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in acting and directing and also completed post-graduate work there from the Graduate School of Business.
Personal
Karolyn is a Marketing Volunteer for the Natural History Museum (NHM) and serves on the Advisory Board for Children in Foster Care Advocacy (CASA). She enjoys sailing, skiing and travel. Since moving to the desert from Seattle, Washington, her interests have shifted to hiking, gardening, biking and travel. Becoming a more sustainable planet is her global interest and spending time with family and friends is her daily passion.
