André Link
National Sales Manager
In his role as National Sales Manager, André is responsible for the corporate, association and incentive markets in the Southeast regional market including Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas as well as Mexico, Spain, South America and Latin America. He handles groups of 151 rooms per night and above.
Experience
André began his career as a Management Trainee at The King David Hotel, Jerusalem, a Five-Star deluxe hotel. Since that time, André has worked in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia; Beijing, China; Hong Kong and Europe. From 2001 until 2004, André worked with Park Plaza Hotels Europe as Business Development Manager and as part of the executive opening team, opening five new hotels across the United Kingdom. André has been involved in the management and operation of some of the world's largest events, such as the Qantas Australia Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit events and the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Most recently André was employed at the Las Vegas Convention Center as a Senior Catering Manager working with exhibitors and show managers. In October 2008, André joined Wynn Las Vegas as a Convention Services Manager and has managed events across both Wynn Las Vegas and Encore.
Education
André grew up in Melbourne, Australia, attended a private school and graduated from William Angliss College (Australia's premier hospitality school) with an associate degree in hospitality management. André went on to attend Cornell University's Professional Development Program in Ithaca, New York.
Personal
When not at work, André enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures and cuisines, and has done so in many countries and continents. André is an avid amateur cook, which ties in with his love of travel. He loves entertaining in his home and dining out with friends.
