Pedram Pakneshan
National Sales Manager
In his role as National Sales Manager, Pedram Pakneshan is responsible for the corporate, association and incentive markets in the West Coast regional market to include Northern California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming in addition to Japan and the Pacific Rim. Pedram handles groups from 151 rooms and more.
Experience
He began his career with Clark Kerr Dining in Berkeley as a Banquet Captain. As Conference Assistant Coordinator at the University of California, Berkeley's Conference Services, he managed simultaneous events and followed up with clients to ensure their satisfaction and continued business. He was also Catering and Food Service Manager for Cal Dining and was later promoted to Hiring Manager. In 2004, he moved to Las Vegas and joined the staff of MGM Grand Resort & Casino as Assistant Manager within the food and beverage department. Pedram joined the pre-opening Sales Team at Wynn Las Vegas in 2005 as a Conference Sales Manager and was promoted to Senior Conference Sales Manager in 2007 prior to becoming National Sales Manager.

Pedram is a member of the American Hotel & Lodging Association and the National Restaurant Association.
Education
Pedram grew up in the Berkeley, California area and graduated from San Francisco State University with a bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant management with a minor in business administration. He was named in Who's Who among Students in American Universities and was a member of the National Honor Society. He received scholarships from the California Hotel Lodging Association, SFSU Hospitality Management Society (2001 and 2002), Hotel & Restaurant Foundation and was the SFSU spokesperson in 2001 and 2002. In addition, he was Founding President of San Francisco State University Hospitality Management Alumni Association and President of the Hospitality Management Society.
Personal
When not working, Pedram enjoys dining at new restaurants with friends and attending hospitality networking events.
